Brandon has been involved in the speech and debate community for more than 15 years, and has coached at Burbank High School since 2021. He is the coach of the back-to-back 2022 and 2023 National Speech and Debate Association's World Schools Debate National Championship team (West Los Angeles Violet), along with several other state and nationally-ranked students. Brandon also serves as the Historian for the California High School Speech Association, President for the Tri County Forensic League, and Chair of the the National Speech and Debate Association's West Los Angeles District Committee. In 2024, he was awarded an NSDA District Leader Commendation for Excellence in Leadership and Tournament Administration.

An operations and human resources professional by trade, Brandon volunteers his time and expertise because of his love for the activity, as well as a commitment to ensuring that Burbank High School students have the same opportunities he had when he attended BHS. He lives and works in Burbank with his wife, their son, and their two dogs.
