Brandon has been involved in the speech and debate community for more than 15 years, and has coached at Burbank High School since 2021. Under Brandon's leadership, the team has reached new heights, winning its first state and national championships in the school's history. He is the coach of the back-to-back 2022 and 2023 National Speech and Debate Association's World Schools Debate National Championship team (West Los Angeles Violet), the 2026 California State Champion in Dramatic Interpretation (Gwyneth Glover, '27) along with several other state and nationally-ranked students. Brandon also serves as the Area 3 Chair for the California High School Speech Association and Chair of the National Speech and Debate Association's West Los Angeles District Committee. In 2024, he was awarded an NSDA District Leader Commendation for Excellence in Leadership and Tournament Administration. He lives in Burbank with his wife and their son.
